When is the best time to schedule my newborn portrait session?
​
The best time to schedule your session is before your due date so that you can have your session within 10 days of birth, which is the most ideal time.
​

How soon should I have my newborn session after giving birth?
​
The earlier the better because babies are the most sleepy within those first few days. If you want cute poses, you want to keep it within 5 to 10 days. After a couple of weeks, posing is not practical because of baby's movement.

How much do sessions cost?
​
Your $215 session fee secures your session date. Package balance is due before unedited proofing images are released. To view full pricing click here.

My baby is already born, am I too late to schedule a Newborn Session?
​
If I have an opening in my calendar I am happy to accommodate! I really love to take newborn pictures 5-10 days after birth. After that, some of the most adorable poses aren’t as easy to achieve.

Does a Fresh 48 Session take the place of birth photography?
​
It can! In cases where photographers are not allowed in the room, a Fresh 48 session is a great alternative to birth photography. That said, it is also be a great compliment to birth sessions and I do offer a special rate for my birth clients who would like to add a Fresh 48 or newborn session to their collection.

What happens after my session?
​
After your session we’ll discuss when you when you can expect your photographs to be available for selecting in your online gallery, typically 24 hours after your session date.

Do you offer Maternity Photo Shoots or Baby’s First Year plan?
​

How do you choose the images for my private gallery?
​
I look carefully at each and every image I capture at your session and hand select the best images. I guarantee minimum of 30 images for you to choose from, but there are usually many more included.

Can we bring other people to the shoot to observe?
We ask that only those who are being photographed be present.
